Carlo Allion is a contemporary
abstract artist living and working in the greater Toronto area. Carlo
has developed a very distinct style of painting. Beginning with a base
made up of a variety of textural mediums layered with translucent
acrylic paints and metallics. His art has a unique dimensional quality
that will often be landscape based or incorporate organic elements.
"Working with thoughts and images in my mind I work instinctively,
allowing a natural flow to the creative process. Experimenting with
different mediums and textural grounds allows me to explore interesting
new directions, continually pushing the work further in order to grow as
an artist."
